Numa antevisão do colóquio realizado em Alferce, Monchique, no final de outubro de 2024, sobre “As Paisagens de Fogo de Monchique: História e memória dos incêndios nas serras do sul”, a rádio Gilão e a Rádio Universitária do Algarve entrevistaram os historiadores Miguel Carmo e José Miguel Ferreira sobre os resultados do projeto FIREUSES, com particular interesse na pesquisa realizada na serra de Monchique.
Looking ahead to the conference held in Alferce, Monchique, at the end of October 2024, on ‘The Burning Landscapes of Monchique: History and memory of fires in the southern mountains’, Radio Gilão and Rádio Universitária do Algarve interviewed historians Miguel Carmo and José Miguel Ferreira about the results of the FIREUSES project, with particular interest in the research carried out in the Monchique mountains.
