No início de maio de 2025, a edição francesa do Courrier International publicou um artigo a partir da reportagem que saíra na semana anterior na portuguesa VISÃO. Num país que enfrenta regularmente o problema dos incêndios florestais, agravado pelas consequências das alterações climáticas, este artigo destaca a perspectiva de longa duração introduzida pelo FIREUSES: "Sob a ditadura de António Salazar, as políticas de arborização e a proibição de técnicas diversas de queima utilizadas pelos camponeses contribuíram para tornar Portugal um verdadeiro barril de pólvora incendiária."
In early May 2025, the French edition of Courrier International published an article based on a report that had appeared the previous week in the Portuguese magazine VISÃO.
