Estudo realizado em colaboração com o IPMA, IP e o projeto FIRESTORM - Weather and Behaviour of Fire Storms (PCIF/GFC/0109/2017) sobre alterações na distribuição dos incêndios e da meteorologia associada ao longo do ano. Os resultados mostram o alargamento claro da época de incêndios e da sua base meteorológica nas últimas décadas, com incidência particular na primavera. Este artigo foi publicado em acesso aberto na revista Meteorology do grupo MDPI.
Study conducted in collaboration with IPMA, IP and the project FIRESTORM - Weather and Behaviour of Fire Storms (PCIF/GFC/0109/2017) on changes in the distribution of fires and associated meteorology throughout the year. The results show the clear broadening of the fire season and its meteorological basis in recent decades, with a particular focus on spring. This article was published in open access in the journal Meteorology of the MDPI group .
