Lloyd promises that he will make the offer Lopez prescribe to purchase spermaceti of Mr Quincey. He considers that Lopez offer is below the market price. He also informs Lopez on Mr Rotch of Nantucket's prices of whale oil, as well as molasses' prices in the Boston market.
In P.S., Lloyd adds that Mr Quincey will not sell his spermaceti under 13/6 per lb., and that Mr Langdon has none to spare.
