Synopsis: Hayley and Hopkins inform Lopez of the arrival of the Abigail the previous day. the Abigail arrived with 60 puncheons of rum, 20 bags of pimento, 8 casks sugar and about 3000 feet of mahogany. Captain Allen told them the Minerva was not sailed from Jamaica for the Bay when he left the island and there is no probability of its arriving in time to take any of Lopez' spring goods. They are afraid of hardly find a purchase for the Minerva. Vessels of its structure were not in favour in London.
