Synopsis: Lucena informs Lopez that the buyers of schooner Nancy have not yet paid it and he supposes that they would not pay it before he demanded the payment. He does not trust these buyers but he had no other option but to sell the Nancy to them since there were no other buyers. Lucena's ship had arrived from Jamaica. He is preparing for a ship's journey, but he has had difficulties getting the rice to load the ship. The excessive rain damaged rice fields.
