In his last letter, written from Boston, Lopez had informed Arnold that he wanted him to transport 12 loads of sugar from Providence to his house. However, the sugar had not come. Arnold ordered the sugar to Providence but only 9 loads arrived. He forwarded Lopez 7 loads.
