Charles Willing & son inform Lopez that they received Lopez's letter, which included one for Mayne Burn & Mayne of Lisbon, which they will forward to Morrow by Lopez’ ship Nancy, Captain Appowen. Willing’s son will go to Lisbon onboard the same ship, “for his health and amusement” and “he will then perhaps see your[Lopez] Friends”. Lopez sent them another letter in February, which they forwarded to Lisbon by Captain Joy. They tell that there were several ships from Lisbon during that Spring but no letters directed for Lopez.
