Synopsis

Gomez writes on the six boxes of spermaceti candles that Lopez had sent him by Captain Monrow. He did not find any buyer for the candles, and he asks Lopez if he wants him to send them back to Newport. He informs Lopez that that day is the last day of the lottery. If Lopez wins something, Gomez will send him that value in tallow.
A note at the end of the letter informs that either Gomez or Lopez win nothing in the lottery draw.
