Synopsis: Benjamin Gomez tells that he was informed by S. Hart of Lopez's safe arrival at Newport. He promises that he will acquaint Lopez when his goods arrive and, if some suit his demand, Gomez would be glad to send them to Lopez. He lists the clothes that he is expecting: bombozines, crepes, silks, raven's duck, Russia sheetings, fine Irish linens, printed cottons and linens, taffetas, damasks, etc.
