Synopsis
Levy & Marache inclose Lopez's invoice and bill of lading of sundry merchandises shipped on his account by the sloop Dolphin, Joshua St Crois master. Since Lopez left York, bills of exchange had rised to 70%, thus merchants in New York will not sell their goods under 125%. They think that it is not prudent to send Lopez the whole parcel of ribbons that they had bought as it amounts to a large sum. They had not get the remainder of Lopez's memorandum yet. They expect to can forward the goods per Landworthy, who is expected in New York daily. In P.S., they mention a range of goods ("the shall of Hayman Levy, wool, cards, soap balls of Miner and Ramsay) that they did not have time to pack up and send by St Crois.
