Synopsis
Levy & Marache tell Lopez that they will apply the best methods to get the insurance to his brigantine. They mention the "subject of Mr Philip Cuyler'" and leave it to Lopez's "prudent management". Lopez letters to Mr Turner of Amsterdam and to James Lucena were forwarded. Bills of exchange are still at 80% and do not suit them to supply Lopez with the goods he wants under 133 1/3 per cent. They leave Lopez to judge if they can afford goods under exchange very high and insurances and freight deare than ever. Lopez account with Hayman Levy shall be drawn out as soon as possible. They will examine Lopez' account with the company and give him credit for the abatement on china, the commissions on the candles and other bills. Levy & Marache's letter will be delivered by Moses Seixas, who will go with Lawton on the next day.
