Synopsis: Ship: Pitt. Captain: Jeremiah Osborne. Destination: Bristol. In Bristol, Osborne should deliver the enclosed letter and cargo to Henry Cruger Jr. and follow his directions. "Should the ship take in any considerable freight for New York you are to have my own goods stowed between decks that in case you touch here on your return we may handily come at them without detaining the ship. But in case no other goods presents but my own Mr Cruger will then order you to touch at the Island of May in order to take the remainder of your cargo in salt; to effect which he will furnish you with sundry effects suitable for that market and sufficient to procure you a full load of salt".
