Synopsis
Brigantine: Industry. Captain: John Peters. Destination: Quebec. In Quebec, Peters should deliver the enclosed letters to Werden & Mercier, merchants in Quebec, and the cargo according to bills of lading, except 30 hogsheads of molasses that Lopez had addressed to Mr Drummond. Werden & Mercier will give Peters all possible dispatch, even if they detain Peters for 2 or 3 weeks. Lopez desires them to dispatch two horses. Peters had received 148 (?) dollars for the freight of 30 hogsheads of molasses consigned to Mr Drummond, and 4 hogsheads of New England rum and 3 casks of sugar to Werder & Mercier, of which money Peters are to lay out in firewood as much as he thinks the brigantine may bring. Lopez also advises Peters that is probable that Werder & Mercier will remit him some money on Peters's return and recommends particular care with it.
