Synopsis
-
Brigantine: Industry. Captain: John Peters. Destination: The Mole, Hispaniola. In the Mole, Peters should deliver the cargo agreeable to bills of lading to Manuel Rodrigues, on board, who will deliver Peters a cargo of molasses and etc., with which Peters should return to Newport. Lopez adverts that it is possible that Abraham Sarzedas, merchant at the Mole, may have some sugars to ship for Lopez's account. "I have nothing farther to add save my recommending you so cultivate good harmony with Mr Rodrigues who am well assured will do all in his power to serve my interest and make no doubt you'll join and assist him that this adventure may end to the satisfaction of the concurred. As I have made sake of the brig and am under an engagement to deliver her here the latter end of March or the beginning of April next must request your attention to make the best dispatch and wishing you a safe return."
