Synopsis: Lopez had agreed with the price proposed by Marache for the spermaceti candles. When Marache opened the box to shew a person who wanted some, he was suprised to find them in bad condition. "They will not answer my purpose as nobody will buy them". Marache sent Lopez a couple of candle to he may see how they are. Jauncey kept a box of them for use of his compting house.
