Synopsis: Transcription of the original Portuguese letter, with English and German translations.
Costa informs Lopez that when Captain Pinnegar departed for New York, he took with him the enslaved woman for account of Lopez's late wife. He will send Lopez the statement of expenses in this matter. He also encloses prices of commodities: rice, turpentine, indigo, deer skins, rum, flour and ship bread.
