Synopsis
Pereira Mendes informs Lopez of the safe arrival of Captain Benjamin Wright to Savanna la Mar after a 23-day passage. He brought his horses in good order but lost most of his livestock. He informs of the death of Mr King at Black River. Pereira Mendes had to procure a pilot and dispatch him four days since to Black River. In P.S., Pereira Mendes addresses his compliments to Mr. River, Mr. Polock. The market is pretty good. Prices of white staves, red staves, boards and candles.
