Synopsis: The schooner Ranger, under Allen’s command, will proceed directly to Port Antonio in Jamaica and there dispose of its cargo. If there was no demand for the goods, the schooner should proceed down the North side of the island and touch every port to procure the best advantages of the markets. The cargo should be sold for no other pay but cash. Then, Allen should sail to Savanna la Mar and there wait for the arrival of Captain Benjamin Wright on the ship America. After writing this, Lopez adds that Allen should put into Cape Nicholas and try that market to sell both the commodities and the schooner.
