Synopsis
-
Daniel Crommelin & Sons informs Lopez that Mr Chabanel continues to be unable to pay the debt. They shipped on Lopez’s account and risk, onboard the Hendrina, Captain Claas Gorter the sundry articles that Lopez requested to be sent via Suriname. They only omitted the china cups and saucers because the price was high and could not find any to suit Lopez’s market and taste. Also, they only sent 16 p. of ravens duck because of the scarcity of this commodity. They think that the quality of the T. (tea?) will satisfy Lopez. They consign the T. to Dick Ian Willem Harberman of Suriname in case of Captain Hathaway’s absence. Attached
