Synopsis: Daniel Crommelin & Sons lament that Lopez was not able to accept their proposals in regard to the spermaceti candles. Thus, they propose to Lopez send a smaller quantity. They have not yet heard from Captain Hathaway nor of the receipt of the goods sent him by Captain Claas Goorter. The lawsuits of Jacob Chabanel against the insurers are not yet determined, therefore, there are no novelties on his affair.
