Synopsis
-
Lyon advises Lopez on the need to have their accounts settled and agreeable to Lopez’s engagement before Captain Andrew and Mr George Williams. He complains that he expected to have a different reply from Lopez and he does not understand the reason why he does not give him “his right”. Lyon says that his largest dependence is on Lopez but he informs him that he was willing to submit his affair to the determination of “three honest reputable merchants” in Newport for the recovery of his property if Lopez does not reply to his complaints.
