Synopsis
Daniel Crommelin & Sons have Lopez’s order to ship 20 chests of tea via Surinam to be delivered to Captain Hathaway. They inform him that the Parliament had taken off all the duties on the teas imported to America, which makes a considerable difference in prices. They will send the books that Lopez had ordered to Surinam. They took the resolution of not sending the T. (tea?), but if Lopez still thinks proper to send it, they offer to forward it to St. Eustatius if Lopez has no vessel going to Surinam. The T. is fallen in Amsterdam. They promise to get a favourable price for spermaceti candles.
