Synopsis
Conner informs Lopez that he has letters from friends in Madeira informing him about wheat prices and that the island is well supplied with everything else. He recommends to Lopez’s favour the bearer Captain Joseph Ditzig, who had been upon the Coast of Guinea for the previous four years and had good knowledge of the Portuguese language.
