Synopsis
In the previous letter, Brown & Co. had informed Lopez that they would supply him with 6 ¼ tons of oil by December 25. Lopez tells his conditions and how the oil should be sent: “I depend you’ll be particular in sending good casks, well coopered and filled up wood and wood”. Lopez has no thick caps nor any indigo (that Brown & Co. would have ordered), but he has procured them.
