Synopsis: Brown & Co. send 8 tons of pig iron and lament the detention of his ship. As Lopez has 70 or 80 tons of freight for Bristol, they propose to send him as much pig iron as he needs to complete the cargo. They also ask Lopez’s advice on other vessels that are in Newport to ship for Bristol, since “Bristol is the port we choose to send our pigs to”.
