Synopsis
-
Brown & Co. apologise for not getting the pig iron to Lopez by the time he wished. They explain the circumstances for the lack of production in their furnace. They hope to have the 30 tons that Lopez ordered by Thursday. Boats were in danger due to the apprehensions of men of war, which had also contributed to delays. Thomas Lindsey will take the pig iron to Lopez, who should receive it by Monday or Tuesday next.
