Synopsis: Lopez laments that he cannot comply with either of Brown & Co.’s proposals respecting the oil. Therefore, he will take some effects to complete his brigantine’s cargo. He orders 800 spermaceti candles, but he could need more (up to 2000). Lopez has no occasion to buy any West India Rum, but he offers to send any English goods on their usual terms.
