Synopsis
-
Brown & Co. inform Lopez that the money by Mr Tillinghast came safe to hand. They thought that the rum is not worth being sent on the terms suggested by Lopez, and they propose a price for the Jamaica spirits to be paid in goods. They will send Lopez 5 or 6 iron-bound punctions by the first boat. They cannot give him exact information on the weight of the pig iron delivered to Lopez from the fulling mill last Spring but, according to their calculation, they give an estimation. They ask Lopez to advise them on the quantity of the pig iron sold in England as soon as he received the account sales.
