Synopsis
-
Lopez shares Brown & Co.'s concerns regarding the irregularity attending the delivery of their letters. Lopez could only carry in his ship a part of the casks of oil delivered by Brown & Co., and he explains why. Troubles caused for Brown & Co. had not sent any account of the number of casks delivered. Captain Peters assured Lopez that on his arrival in London, he will be very particular in examining the marks when the oil comes out of the ship. Lopez delivered to Mr Field the 18 casks of oil that were not carried in the ship. He asks Brown & Co. to send him the bill of the pig iron as soon as possible.
