Synopsis: Lopez informs that Messrs. Jenks will not sell their oil under £27. Dr Bowen will freight 5 tons of oil and 12 tons of pig iron. Brown & Co. expected their quantity would be about 48 tons in 4 weeks but Lopez has to dispatch his vessel earlier, só he asks them to send him the quantity that they have now. Most of the manufacturers of Newport had engaged to ship their oil to London in Mr Peas’ and Lopez’s vessels. Lopez is also expecting an answer from Dartmouth, where there are 25-30 tons of white oil.
