Synopsis: Lopez proposes to Brown & Co. the conditions to dispatch the pig iron to Thomas Dolbeare. Lopez engages to pay them either in Rhode Island in 3 months from the delivery or to place an equivalent amount at London in the hands of Hayley & Hopkins in 5 months from the delivery. This letter was duplicated and sent again on October 13, since Lopez had no response from Brown & Co.
