Synopsis
-
Palmer and Heemskerk inform Brown and Lopez that, after the death of Samuel Hissam, their affairs and those of other gentlemen from Providence fell into their hands. They explain the proceedings regarding Shissam’s will and why they could not settle their accounts before September or October. Palmer tells that as his business lies entirely on plantations, he is not the right person to act on their behalf, thus, he advises them to look for another person.
