Synopsis
-
Captain Block left the Texel a few days after their last letter. Captain Nathaniel Hathaway made them the following remittances from Suriname on Lopez’s account: bills on Cooptad & Rochusen of Rotterdam and Fernand Whaly Hudig at Rotterdam. Prices of commodities: tea, logwood, spermaceti, pistol power, [Russian] duck. Crommelin & Sons attaches a letter on March 10, 1774: Crommelin & Sons informs Lopez that Captain Block is at the Texel and will proceed on the voyage soon. No news on Captain Hathaway, since no vessel had arrived from Suriname. Prices of coffee and tea.
