Synopsis: Mill acknowledges Lopez that he received his last correspondence from Captain English, brig Ann. He could not settle with him “the affair relative to the slaves formerly due the Cleopatra”. He promises to settle it with Captain Briggs. 50 ankers that Captain English brought Mill charged him at a very high sum, so he asks Lopez to not ship the remainder of his order by Captain Burke.
