Synopsis: Compliments to “the philanthropist, leader and great traveler, Mr. Rivera” and his family, and particularly to his only son Abraham Rivera. Also greetings to Lopez and his family; Lopez’s brother and family; Abraham Pereira Mendes and family; Moses Levy and family, Joseph Hart; Isaac Hart and wife; Mr Leeser; Hazan Touro and wife, Bachur Calo, and “the great scholar R. Meir”. He informs that he was hosted “at the house of the Captain”. He signs as “Tobiah ben Jehudah, descendant of the Maharshal from the stem of Rashi”.
