Synopsis: Mears informs Lopez that, the day before, a team load of two hogsheads of merchandise, one of spirits and 2 bars of lead came there, forwarded by Josiah Blakeley of Hartford. He purchased the bushels of flaxseed he referred to in his previous letter for 2 dollars. Price of rum. A parcel of buckskin breeches, some ready dressed skins and some sheep's skin breaches will sell well.
