Synopsis
-
Crommelin & Sons enclose drafts of George Robert Gooden on Hibbert Purner & Horson and Augustus Johnston on John Martin Loake Esqr. J. M. Leake Esqr. Refused a bill and Crommelin tried to know the reason by “our friend in London”. No news about Frederick de la Porte. Lopez’s last letter informed them of the safe arrival of his joint venture with Francis Rotch. Problems to dispatch Lopez’s vessel to Amsterdam. They assure him that, as soon as it arrives, they will give the vessel all dispatch, including the Bohea Tea ordered by Rivera. They forwarded Lopez 3 casks of Bohea tea by the Sally & Betsy, commander Moses Grinnell, bound from Rotterdam to Boston.
