Synopsis
-
Mears informs Lopez of the safe arrival of his goods. The detention of Lopez’s salt and other commodities from the Eastward (which did not yet arrive) and Lopez’s orders to stop purchasing flaxseed for cash had a negative impact. Bad weather and bad roads occasioned Marvin a long and costly journey, raising the value of his bill of expenses. One of Larvin’s bladers of snuff got broke and powdered the whole hogshead, but the rest is well. He is happy to hear the sale of the rum Lopez approved of.
