Synopsis: David reports to his uncle that, following his orders, he delivered the Teamster three hogsheads of dry goods. He incloses a minute of what had been taken out of each cask since they were first packed for Lopez’s government. Mrs Williams left David 32 ¼ tallow to be forwarded to Lopez. David had information from someone who had taken off the island that the enemy was all embarked and that they had burnt the lighthouse last night.
