Synopsis
Myers informs Lopez of his arrival. He also finds in Philadelphia his partner, Moses Myers, from Saint Thomas. He will rest a while in Philadelphia and then proceed to the West Indies to settle in business in the company of Moses Myers. The commerce changed in Philadelphia in the last weeks. A total stagnation of the paper currency. All sorts of goods plenty at the market. Prices of commodities: India rum, muscovado sugar, Havana sugar, Bohea tea, coffee, dry goods, superfine and common flour.
