Synopsis
-
Joseph informs his father that, on the day after his departure from Leicester, he promised to load the bearer John Whitney’s team to Boston. Then Whitney is calling on Joseph for it, and Joseph has to deliver him a load. Joseph tells that he will use his best endeavours to persuade Whitney not to proceed further than Sudbury. Observing the quantity of flour that his father had contracted to deliver, Joseph found that it is near the quantity he transmitted, a week before, a load of fluor to Sudberry by Elijah. Now, he sent 25 tons by Whitney. Bearer Mr Morgan told him that his team going empty to Boston, so Joseph forwarded his father one barrel of potash and one barrel of flour.
