Synopsis
Judah acquaints Lopez that, after the death of his father, Samuel Judah, on October 19, 1781, he was empowered to settle the affairs relative to his estate. So, he refers to a letter from Lopez on August 17, 1781, in which he mentioned the reception of 12 barrels of fat and pearl ashes, and he hopes that he could obtain a good market for these goods. He informs that he had received the bills of exchange sent by Lopez and asks him to send another bill and the account of the remaining 22 casks. He requests if the pearl ashes are disposed of to remit the net proceeds in bills of exchange in Paris.
