Synopsis: Hays informs Lopez that he was pursuing 200 barrels of flour for the account of Isaiah Doane and Samuel Emery to be delivered to them at Hartford, but, as he had Lopez first in view in this negotiation, he asks Lopez if he is interested to dispose of that quantity at the current cash price at Hartford, payable one half in cash immediately and the other half in two months in Boston.
