The documentary fonds of the Parish Archive of Agreda contain documentation from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century. This collection is based on medieval documentation.
Among the documentation, there is just one manuscript volume from the medieval period. It is an accounts book entitled "Libro viejo de las cuentas de la cofradia de la yglesia de Santa Maria de Magaña” (Old accounts book of the Confraternity of the Church of Santa Maria de Magaña"), dated between 1360 and 1437. Many other parchments of the Clergy of Agreda, as well as papal bulls, are preserved. There are 32 royal letters and privileges granting economic privileges to the Agreda Church Chapters. There is also an important set of correspondence on paper between the church chapters of Agreda and Tarazona. In addition, 48 royal paper letters are preserved (from the 13th to the 16th centuries). They deal with matters of ecclesiastical administration, relations with religious minorities and other issues of economic nature.
Concerning Jews, a letter issued by King Fernando IV to the authorities of Agreda compels the Jews to pay the tithes of properties that have been bought to Christians (1295-1312). Another letter orders that Jews and Muslims could not be present during Christian religious events (1303). A letter issued by King Enrique II refers to a lawsuit between the church chapters of Agreda and Rabbi Yuzaf Abenamias, who was the tax farmer of the so-called twelve coins tax of Agreda and its territory, about the royal exemption enjoyed by the town clergymen (1375). Inquisitorial and other proceedings against inhabitants from Agreda are preserved, in which data on alleged Judaizing practices are collected (1492-1800). References to the space occupied by the Jewish quarter are contained in an inventory carried out by the Church of San Juan (1795).

Archival history
-
The collections of the Parish Archive of Agreda come from the former parishes of Santa Maria de la Peña, San Miguel and Nuestra Señora de los Milagros, where the archives of their three subsidiary parishes (San Pedro, San Juan Bautista and Santa Maria de Magaña) were gathered. Today all documentary fonds are preserved in a building near the Los Milagros parish. Beginning in 2010 and continuing throughout the decade, an archivist was appointed, and he has managed to organize the collection, classifying the medieval documents into two sections: papers and parchments.

Administrative / Biographical history
-
The Parish Archive of Agreda collects the documents produced by the six parishes of the city in the performance of their functions since the thirteenth century. Each of these parishes had their own archives, which merged; currently, the only parish is the Church of Nuestra Señora de Los Milagros, where the archive is now located.
