Scope and content

This collection comprises documents relating to the Salvador (Rodrigues) family in the Netherlands and England. It contains the following documents:
P443-1: deed of sale of the house of Abraham de Mercado, located next to the house of N. Salvador in The Hague, dated June 17, 1712.
P443-2: deed of sale of a house located next to the house of N. Salvador in The Hague, dated August 19, 1716.
P443-3-ovs: royal permission allowing Francis Salvador to bear armorial ensigns, dated June 1, 1745. This honour had been previously granted to his father, Joseph Salvador. The file includes two copies of the original document, dated July 12, 1821.
P443-4-ovs: translation into Dutch of the royal permission to bear armorial ensigns granted to Francis Salvador, dated 1854.
P443-5-ovs: official confirmation of the deed of sale of the house of Jacob van der Meer Rietvelt to Leonard van de Kasteeles, dated June 22, 1750.
P443-6-ovs: deeds of sale of the house of Johanna Salome, daughter of Leonard van de Kasteeles, which was located next to the house of N. Salvador in The Hague, May 14, 1770.
P443-7: Official confirmation of the sale of Johanna Salome's house in The Hague, May 14, 1770.
P443-8: inventory of the estate of Joseph Fernandez Nunez, dated July 29, 1788.
P443-9: English translation of Joseph Fernandez Nunez's last will, dated December 31, 1786.
P443-10: copies of documentation regarding the inheritance of Joseph Fernandez Nunez, dated April 18, 1845.
P443-11: Moses Salvador hands the notary files regarding the legacy of Isaac Teixeira Junior and of the widow Rachel Fernandez Nunez.
