This schooner is aimed at the cod fishery.
Captain Shearman is instructed to deliver the enclosed letter to Captain Thomas Earnshey, in Gaspé, who will assist Shearmas on the fishery from the time he arrives until about the first of August next.
After this period, Shearman has orders to break off fishing, deliver up the schooner to Captain Earnshey and receive from him Lopez's brigantine Charlotte, which he should take under his command and leave to Kingston.
